We enclose some photos taken over last weekend on Cape Clear Island which saw various diverse groups arrive on the Island to enjoy different types of events. This included the O Driscoll Clan gathering, the O'Reilly post wedding Party from Schull and  various Hen & Stag Groups. By all accounts the performance by The Good Rain on Friday night in the Club was excellent and as usual the local musicians performed to their expected high standards. The Photos show the Clan arriving at Cape Clear Heritage Centre, Island musicians young and old preparing to entertain the crowd gathered at Cottors, The arrival of the O Reilly party in a festooned Dun Aengus and Cecelia Uí Drisceoil taken with outgoing Clan Chieftan, John O'Driscoll. Cecelia officiated at a poignant Remembrance Ceremony for the various diverse O Driscoll families, spread far and wide and the photo also shows some of the remembrance candles brought from various parts of the Globe to the Centre over the years.
